Consultations

The Clinic believes every patient deserves individual time and care. That’s why we always provide an initial consultation to learn about the patient’s behavior, history, and more.

Evaluation

The key to helping behavioral issues is to look at the whole animal, the environment in which they live, and to identify triggers.

Treatment

Our team of veterinarians and CPDT trainers approach behavioral concerns by guiding owners with Management, Behavior Modification, discussing if Medication is warranted, and how to Monitor progress.

Individual
Care

Every animal is unique and deserving of individual attention and care. We make sure to explore that animal’s experience and history, and approach treatment in a specialized, focused manner.

Home Consultations

Dr. Cutler is going to be spending more time at the Behavior Clinic and less time doing house calls.  Home visits are available, but on a limited basis.  There are some behavioral issues that warrant a home visit (such as multi-cat or multi-pet or for dogs who will not get into a car), and those will be scheduled at the discretion of our team.

“Dr. Cutler saved my boy, Stanley! We have 2 cats and one was acting out.Peeing on everything! We’d been to our regular vet and were told he didn’t have a medical condition. They prescribed anti-anxiety medicine but it made Stanley catatonic.Neither condition was acceptable and we were actually discussing giving him away or putting him down.Fortunately, our vet suggested I talk to Dr. Cutler. She truly listened, came to our home and offered practical solutions – AND Stanley loved her (he doesn’t normally like strangers)! Stanley’s behavior has improved significantly and we are grateful that Dr. Cutler filled a huge gap in traditional veterinary care. She truly takes the time to treat the entire animal.
